In-situ shot put throwing method
Shot put is one of the earliest sports introduced in China, and it is also one of the physical education standards in primary and secondary schools in China. It can exercise the muscles and ligaments of upper limbs, develop strength and coordination ability, and also cultivate the strong will quality of practitioners. However, China's shot put performance has been at the third-rate level in the world, especially among teenagers. The main reason for this result is that teenagers can't master throwing skills well. Now, the mistakes that teenagers often make in the shot put process have been corrected. Second, common mistakes and their harm 2. 1 incorrect method of holding the ball. Shot put is an explosive event in which the ball is pushed from the shoulder with one hand, but most teenagers don't know the technique of holding the ball clearly. When holding the ball, they always wrap it with their fingers (especially girls). The relationship between the finger and the shot put is completely wrapped, forming a hand shape holding the ball from the side. This method of holding the ball will seriously affect the braking force of the hand on the shot put and the smooth completion of hitting the ball. 2.2 Throwing elbows droop excessively. Many young learners believe that they should relax their physical resources as much as possible before the shot put. Because of the gravity of the earth, the elbow of their throwing arm will naturally droop, which makes many muscles closely related to shot put, such as pectoralis major and biceps brachii, unable to fully stretch, artificially shortening the initial length of muscles and reducing the excitability of muscles, which directly leads to the inability of muscles to produce greater muscle strength, thus seriously affecting the coordination of shot put performance and movements. 2.3 There is no left arm traction when sliding backwards. The final exertion part of shot put consists of "left leg support" and "left arm traction". Among them, "left leg support" is generally valued, while another link "left arm traction" is often ignored by learners. The author found that when most teenagers do backsliding, their left arm does not play any role in the whole process, but passes by under the traction of inertia. Without "left arm traction", the muscles around the left shoulder cannot be mobilized to actively participate in the work, and the left support cannot be more active. 2.4 The right foot pedal method is incorrect. When the slide is completed and the right foot turns to the hip, most teenagers can't start. They don't know whether to turn and then push or push and then turn. The fuzziness of the action process directly leads to the uncoordinated and incomplete completion of the action, which is a great obstacle to the power transmission from bottom to top. Results Shot put was only thrown by upper limb strength, and the result can be imagined. 2.5 The bullet left the neck prematurely. Before putting the ball, learners can put the shot in the clavicle fossa, but when putting the ball, many people have to take it away from their necks and push it out of a space on their shoulders. This makes it impossible for learners to control the center of gravity of shot put well, which makes many forces that should be driving force become resistance. In addition, this is also a major reason for the formation of package player types. 2.6 The shooting angle is too low. The performance of shot put mainly depends on the angle and speed of the shot. The speed of shooting is related to strength, agility and many other aspects. But the shooting angle is mostly influenced by technical factors. The author found that most of the learners who didn't perform well because of the improper shooting angle were because the shooting angle was too low, not too high. The negative effect of low shooting angle on shot put performance is fatal, so it can be said that low shooting angle will definitely lead to poor performance. Third, the cause of the error and the correction method 3. 1 The correct holding action is that the five fingers are naturally separated and the ball is placed at the root of the index finger, middle finger and ring finger. The thumb and little finger are attached to both sides of the ball. [1] There are two main reasons for catching the ball: (1) The concept of holding the ball is unclear; (2) lack of finger strength. Correction method: (1) Require the thrower to hold the ball vertically with his fingers tense; (2) Instruct throwers to do more exercises to develop their finger strength, such as finger lying, continuous grasping, lifting and putting the shot (grasping, lifting and putting are all done in the air). 3.2 In the initial stage of holding the ball, the throwing arm should be as abduction as possible, the elbow should be slightly raised, the upper arm should keep an angle of about 90 with the trunk, and the trunk and head should keep upright. There are two reasons for excessive elbow droop: (1) The thrower doesn't know the elbow position when pushing the ball; (2) When pushing the ball, the right hand leaves the clavicle fossa prematurely, making the elbow droop. Correction method: (1) deepen the understanding of the correct position of elbow when putting the ball, and improve and master the correct putting technique; (2) Before the body turns to the throwing direction, the right hand always presses the ball to the clavicle fossa. 3.3 "Left arm traction" refers to the moment when the trunk forms a "lateral bow" and is about to "swing back" in the throwing direction, the left arm guides the trunk to swing rapidly in the throwing direction. When the chest turns to the throwing direction, the left arm brakes. [3] There are two reasons for "no left arm traction": (1) The head position is incorrect, and the head is turned to the throwing direction too early, resulting in the left shoulder turning to the left; (2) When the left foot swings backwards in the sliding step, the left shoulder will retreat or rotate to the left. Correction method: (1) Always keep the correct position of the head; (2) At the end of the slide, the left arm goes straight forward so that the shoulder axis is parallel to the throwing direction. 3.4 Correct pedaling is a continuous process, and there is no difference between pedaling first and then turning or pedaling first. The movement is completed continuously by kneeling and pedaling. The so-called kneeling pedal means that the right foot lifts the heel and rotates while the knee joint keeps a certain included angle. The trajectory of the knee joint in the steering process is a straight line with a slight upward inclination. After turning around, the body's center of gravity is raised and the right foot is fully extended. There are three reasons why the right foot is incorrect: (1) The concept of technical action is unclear; (2) Wrong sequence of exertion; (3) Insufficient thigh muscle strength. Correction method: (1) deepen the understanding of the technical movements of kneeling and pedaling, and establish the movement program without any practice for many times; (2) Repeated practice of sliding, stepping and passing, emphasizing that the right hand holds the ball and does not leave the right clavicle fossa before the body rotates; (3) Do more exercises such as half squat and full squat to develop the strength of lower limbs. 3.5 The correct placement of shot put is above the inner end of clavicle, close to the neck. There are two reasons for the wrong placement of the shot put: (1) the complete technical action of the shot put is not clearly understood, and the shot put is understood as throwing the shot put; (2) Insufficient strength of upper limbs. Correction method: (1) Require the thrower to always press the ball to the neck; (2) Exercises to increase upper limb strength, such as snatch, clean and jerk, clean and jerk, etc. 3.6 When shooting, the shooting angle should be kept between 35 and 45, and the head should be upward. There are three reasons for low hand angle: (1) incorrect head position; (2) The left arm is not braked; (3) Insufficient support on the left side. Correction method: (1) deepen the understanding of the correct position of the head; (2) Look at the sky when throwing, imagine that there is a target in the sky that is suitable for the end of the putter angle, and look at this target to push the ball; (3) Emphasize the rapid fall of the left foot before the end of the slide to form a strong support; (4) At the end of the slide, the body center of gravity should be placed above the right foot to form a good final posture. Repeatedly carry out various special exercises of sliding steps. [2] four. Conclusion The complete shot put technique is a continuous movement with aesthetic feeling. Only when the whole movement is reasonable, coordinated and coherent can we achieve ideal results. The key points emphasized in this paper are all important links to successfully complete the shot put technique. If the throwers can correctly complete the links emphasized in this paper, there will be no technical problems such as improper exertion and disjointed exertion, and their performance will be improved.
